Asleep in the Sun is an Argentinian film, with a slightly scifi premise. It is reminiscent of Cold Souls and maybe even a little Being John Malkovich, which might give you some idea of what this film is about.
Lucio's wife has been depressed due to her barrenness, and is considering getting a dog to cheer herself up. A friend who owns a dog kennel cautions that won't always solve the problem, and suggests an innovative clinic instead. Diana enters the clinic for a few days and returns a changed woman, someone whose personality is entirely different from the woman Lucio knew. Lucio attempts to discover what has changed in his wife.

This was a period piece (1950s), had some interesting locations and music, as well as a new concept. Although I didn't prefer how the story ended, these other elements and the story concept interested me enough to rate this four out of five stars.
